Dea. Carlton Newell Collie, Jr. Obituary (1966

Carlton Newell Collie Jr. was born on December 31, 1966, to the late Carlton Collie Sr. and Mizpah Miller in Nassau Bahamas and entered the care of the Lord on October 29, 2022. Carlton graduated from Miami Norland Senior High in Miami-Dade County Florida. In high school, he enjoyed playing baseball, football, and playing the drums in the marching band. He met and eventually married his high school sweetheart Shaante Dunn, their thirty year union produced four children. Carlton was affectionately known as the hardest working man in the family, who always wore the red shop shirt. In 1999, he started Seventh Avenue Tire & Wheel. Over the past twenty three years he grew the business to include a carwash, mechanical services and a towing service. Carlton was passionate about helping others. If there was a need, he availed himself to be of service. His hand and his heart was always extended to those who knew him. Left to cherish and not forgotten by: his mother Mizpah Miller; mother of his children Shaante Dunn-Collie; three sons, Calvin Collie, Joshua Collie, and Ian Collie; daughter Brianna Collie. Brother Oscar Collie; four sisters Aletha Collie, Maedorn Collie, Colene Collie, and Sharae Collie.
