Magaritta Cleopatra Hamilton was born on February 10, 1934, in Duhaney Pen, St. Thomas, Jamaica. She peacefully transitioned on September 2, 2026. Magaritta was a thoughtful woman whose strength, kindness, and devotion were evident throughout her life.

After making her home in Hollywood, Florida, she created a welcoming place filled with warmth, peace, and comfort. Her gentle spirit and unwavering love left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Eric S. George Funeral Home, 6107 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida 33023. Her Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 7200 Davie Road Extension, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
