In Loving Memory of Nikita Magee

Nikita Magee was born on March 18, 1970, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She peacefully departed this life on August 23, 2026, in Florida.

Nikita was a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend, and woman of faith whose warmth, humor, and kindness brought comfort and joy to those around her. She was generous, hardworking, forgiving, and strong. Above all, she was a God-fearing woman who believed in putting God first.

She faithfully served others through her work at Broward Health Hospital, but her greatest joy was being the devoted mother of Nijah Mercadel and Noel Mercadel. Nikita loved her children unconditionally, making sure they always felt protected, supported, and cared for. She laughed with them, guided them, and taught them through her example to live with faith, compassion, strength, and love.

Nikita enjoyed attending church, spending time at the beach, and creating special memories with family and friends. Her loving spirit and generous heart touched many lives.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Nijah Mercadel and Noel Mercadel; her siblings, Brian Francois, Wayne Magee, Alvin Francois, Troy Francois, Mark Harry, and Lucretia Magee; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Though Nikita will be deeply missed, her faith, love, and beautiful spirit will continue to live through everyone blessed to have known her.
