Darlene Carole Bennett, affectionately known as “Diamond,” was born on December 20, 1983, in Miami, Florida. Darlene, a charismatic and thoughtful woman, passed away on October 1, 2026, having spent all of her 42 years as a treasured member of the North Miami community. Charming and considerate, Darlene’s energy illuminated every room she entered, making her a beloved figure throughout her life.

Darlene was a vibrant and independent woman with a caring spirit and a special place in her heart for children. She spent much of her time caring for children, and her warm and thoughtful nature made those around her feel welcomed and cherished. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and charismatic personality, leaving a lasting impression on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The visitation for Darlene will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EDT at New Birth Baptist Church, 2300 Northwest 135th Street, Miami, Florida 33167. The service will follow on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EDT at the same location.
