Stephanie Lynn Bevill was born on January 11, 1952, in Coconut Grove, Florida. She passed away on September 24, 2026, leaving a legacy of strength, compassion, and devoted service to others.

Stephanie dedicated several decades to Broward County Public Schools as a professional educator and principal before retiring in 2014. She led with wisdom and patience, and the care she showed her students and colleagues continued to make an impact long after they left her classroom or school. She was also a proud resident of West Park, Florida, for 19 years and held her community close to her heart.

Stephanie will be remembered with love by her family, friends, former students, colleagues, and all whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Eric S. George Funeral Home. A service honoring her life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul AME Church, 1866 Northwest 51st Terrace, Miami, Florida 33142. She will be laid to rest on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 Florida 7, Wellington, Florida 33449.
